The Shabby But Chic PowerSellers is a private eBay group of more than 60 members—all female eBay PowerSellers—formed in January, 2004 by fellow PowerSeller, Paula Amato of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
The group members, part of eBay’s online community section, maintain a private discussion board where they discuss everything from auction strategies to chemotherapy.
Members check in throughout the day to laugh, encourage one another, vent a little, or to share each other’s company throughout the long days of creating eBay listings and managing their online businesses.
The group often donates proceeds to Gilda’s Club, is a special place where the focus is on living with cancer. It’s where men, women and children with any kind of cancer and their family members and friends can plan and build life-changing emotional and social support.
