Angelina Jolie, Katie Couric and Queen Latifah are among more than 40 celebrities personally decorating pairs of Levi’s jeans for auction on eBay to benefit the nonprofit group Girls Inc.
Each pair of the celebrity-embellished Levi’s will be available for online bids beginning Monday at www.ebay.com/sisterhood. Online bids will be accepted through June 2.
The auction — organized by Warner Bros. Pictures, eBay and Levis — precedes the June 1 opening of “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,” a movie based on a book about four female friends and a shared pair of thrift-store jeans.
Prospective bidders may view some of the jeans for auction at www.views.frogspace.net/PANTS.
