In looking for more articles for my beloved readers, I came across Tech Nightmares: eBay on cnet.
“One day, you’re blithely surfing eBay and stumble across a Ziggy Zebra Beanie Baby - the perfect gift for your little rug rat,” write contributing authors Dan Tynan and Christina Wood. “So you place a bid, then another bid, and another. Finally, you manage to snag the thing out from under a dozen other eBay buyers. But when the package arrives days later, it’s no Beanie Baby. It’s not even a zebra. It’s hell-spawn evil incarnate, a thing from a world not our own. You’ve been slimed by the dark forces of eBay.”
Tech Nightmares - “horror stories for your tech products” - is an absolutely hilarious with a web skin showing a pair of frightened eyes looking at the reader and evil-looking claws coming out of the ground. Tech Nightmares’ introductions are funny but then offer real, honest solutions to problems from avoiding eBay scams to watching out for spam on Microsoft Outlook.
Please check out Tech Nightmares. You’ll laugh, you’ll nod your head when you see something that’s happened to you has happened to someone else and you’ll find solutions to the never-ending problems presented by today’s technology.
