Chambers decided to offer the guarantee after noticing that his auctions nearly always sold for a higher amount compared to similar items sold by other eBay members. “The guarantee lets the seller know that I am very focused on selling the item for the highest amount possible, and that I am willing to back that up,” claims Chambers. Under the guarantee, if a selling customer finds a comparable item selling for more (on eBay or anywhere else), Corey Chambers will pay the difference or refund all fees.
Chambers credits his advertising degree, along with 15 years of ecommerce experience, for his success on growing his business from his garage to a new, large office. “Items that I list on eBay sell for much more because my expert writers and photographers make better photos, titles, keywords, categories, descriptions, and choose the right upgrades and other options.” says Chambers.
Indeed, it can take an experienced eBay member to choose from the confounding array of parameters and options in eBay, such as: auction start/stop time, duration, starting price, shipping, payment methods, and listing upgrades.
The Corey Chambers web site is very easy to navigate. I didn’t see any cars listed for sale, but many other auctions for everything from a vintage 8 millimeter projector to contemporary wall art. It is, however, a great resource for PowerSellers to see what a well-organized eBay store looks like.
