Resources: eBay Second Chance Offer Enhancements in Certain Business & Industrial Categories

eBay will make some changes to the Second Chance Offer feature in several Business & Industrial categories for capital equipment. When an item in one of these categories ends without the Reserve price being met, sellers will be able to send a Second Chance Offer with the price set at any amount below the Reserve Price, even if it’s higher than the non-winning bidder’s final bid amount.
For example, if the highest bid is $4,000, but the Reserve of $5,000 is not met, the Seller could make a Second Chance Offer to the high bidder at a price of $4,500 instead of going all the way down to $4,000.
This feature will be available in the following categories, as well as their subcategories:
