Currently there are a number of categories on eBay where the Seller can use Item Specifics to identify their item condition (e.g., New, Used, Refurbished). Item condition is an important piece of information for buyers, and eBay has found that listings with the item condition specified are more likely to sell.
In the next few weeks eBay will extend the ability to list your item’s condition to listings within the Business & Industrial categories. Sellers using eBay listing tools (such as the Sell Your Item form or Turbo Lister) will be able to include this information in the next few weeks. If you utilize a third party listing service (e.g., Andale, Marketworks, etc.), please contact them to verify that they will offer the item condition functionality in these categories.
