Ebay and the CraigsList Relationship
September 14th, 2006 by Marsha JamesCraigslist is becoming more popular everyday to the point that it is even being mentioned in some popculture shows like Scrubs. Ebayers who are still ticked off about the last fee increase have been looking all over for new places to sell and some have settled on Craigslist and hope that this will show Ebay who they playing with.
However this is likely to backfire because many might not be aware that Ebay actually owns part of Craigslist. They bought their share a while back in an effort to keep up on all the new things that are going and once they saw the popularity of the List, they wanted to keep and eye on it to find out how they can further improve Ebay.
So if you want to get back at them by selling elsewhere, Craigslist might not be the place for you.
