Strange Auctions That Sell Big
September 23rd, 2006 by Marsha JamesWhat makes some auctions sell and yet others do not? Right now someone has up an old or should I say “classic” Super Sonics shaving bag. Its not in brand new, almost new, or even mint condition. It has a broken zipper, holes in it and toothpaste stains and yet it is up to $1,025 with almost 12 hours to go at last check. Why is this going for so high a price?
Maybe its what his girlfriend promised to give him if it sells? I’d say yes. Also the money goes to charity and he promises to match whatever this bag sells for, so that could be another reason. But I think its his girlfriends promise.
