Hook them From the Beginning of Your Auction Description
December 22nd, 2007 by Joyce PriddyDo you know that many people will leave an auction description in a matter of seconds if they are not hooked from the very beginning? This in turn means a loss of potential sales and potential repeat customers for your eBay business. The way your auction description looks will determine if the visitor remains on your listing or they quickly move to another auction description.
It is important to really work on the first few sentences of your auction descriptions. You might initially think that this is a waste of time but it really isn’t. After all the success of your auctions means money in your pocket and you should not overlook the beginning hook.
Another thing to do is add colors, pictures and make the auction description area pretty and eye appealing. A plain black and white auction description is going to send buyers to other auctions. They already know that they want you product or they wouldn’t have done a search for it. Use the hook to convince they want to buy the product from you.
