So – something to sell?

Hi, I am looking into ebay selling. I understand ebooks are relatively unexpensive to sell and obviously have don’t have a physical inventory to worry about – my question to the powersellers is have you seen that be successful? How do you find your niche for selling? Thanks in Advance
