Come August 22, 2006 Ebay sellers will see notice that their fees are higher than they used to be. This fee hike is only for sellers at the moment and only those who have stores. The fee to list items in your store used to be $0.02 now it will be $0.05-$0.10.

A 2-day seller promotion is going on at eBay Ireland this Satuday and Sunday (April 8th and 9th).
This weekend only, sellers can can trade internationally on eBay.ie for just 5 cents. All fees apply, plus sellers must “make items available to buyers in any country outside Ireland and offer PayPal.”

According to BusinessWeek, eBay wants to attract new shoppers — specifically, shoppers who prefer fixed prices and instant delivery.
The company will do this by launching eBay Express in late April. eBay Express will be aimed at “busy consumers who just want to click and buy.”
