I have been using Paypal for several years .But now it is changing its policies and become very expensive. It seems Paypal is not bothered about the business and become more money minded.

I had some vouches which I had no intension of using so I thought to sell them on eBay. I sold $10 vouchers (less than their original value) and pay eBay for listing and selling But Paypal charged fees for money received in my account. That made the me cost a lot. The $10 voucher returned me hardly $5 oho.

Paypal should provide facility for using eBay and helping their business grow but instead people got to pay and I find it unfair deal. For any thing which is used and sold for any price is different thing but for brand new untouched thing. Pay pal should not charge fees for selling its partner site (eBay). Paypal already getting business by getting members and in other words members are paying penalty. May be Paypal look at his seller members as business partners that’s why charge fee.

The about me page is one of the most important areas of your eBay auctions that you should take advantage of. The about me page is a free eBay resource that you can use instantly. It is simple to do if you use the templates that eBay provides for this.

The about me page gives buyers confidence. They can relate to you as a seller and as a person. Include information about yourself that will help to gain the confidence of buyers and you will notice a significant increase in the number of bids that you receive on your products.

You can get them wholesale or even from other eBay auctions to earn a great profitable return. When you set up your powerseller store, think about adding five or more decorative eggs to the auction. This will get people to your store and will increase your sales.

The most popular decorative eggs seem to be Emu eggs. If you are a crafter, you can order Emu eggs to decorate and paint yourself. If not, you can find many great wholesalers online and through the craft stores to add to your eBay stock.

Skype is an Internet phone service. You will need the Skype software installed; a microphone; sound card and headset or speakers. You can talk to anyone that is on Skype for free. This means that you can post your Skype ID in your auctions for potential buyers to ask you questions. Part of the buying process on eBay is confidence. Using Skype to help build customer confidence will naturally result in higher auction sales.

You can also use the Skype to post on your eBay stores. This too will enable customers to talk to you directly. Your true phone number and identity will still be protected. Yet, you will have a virtual office phone to handle customers directly.

One trick to keep in mind though is to stay logged into Skype when you are available for phone calls. Customers can leave a message but it is always nicer to talk to someone in person the first time that you call.

As a powerseller you know how important it is to find items that are inexpensive to purchase. When you can find items where the seller doesn’t realize their worth, which is money in your pocket. Often you can save up to 90% of the retail value of an item because someone made an error in their posting or because they didn’t know the retail value of their product. Now you can take advantage of this opportunity to line your pocket with profits from items to put in your powerseller eBay store.

eBay has now added the RSS feature. You can use this feature for searches. The first thing to do is make sure that you have an RSS feed reader. You can locate these online for free so you don’t have to spend money to take advantage of other people’s auctions.

Next you will select keywords to search for in the eBay search area. For example, if you collect Disney items, you can put Disney in the search. It is best to narrow your search down to something more specific though like Cinderella Dolls. This will keep your feed from being so huge.

Once you put in your search keyword, you scroll down to the bottom of the listing. Use your mouse to click the RSS button. Then set your RSS reader to check your subscriptions every half hour or so. This will alert you of auctions that are recently posted.

Once the auctions are posted you can be the first to purchase the item with the buy it now features or to bid on it. You want to try and find these steal and deals with the buy it now options instead of regular bids. This will ensure that you can purchase the item immediately to turn around and sell it for a much higher price than you paid for it. This will significantly increase your selling power as a powerseller on eBay.

eBay has recognized the power of using video on the web. Sellers can now either link a video or embed it right into their listing. Creating a short video of your product can make your listing more informative.

A short video can demonstrate how a product works or show the condition of a piece better than a written description or even a picture. Videos have to adhere to eBay’s policy that includes among other stipulations that the seller must be the owner of the video. Videos need to be hosted on an approved eBay video hosting site. Some approved video hosting sites include: You Tube, AOL, MySpace, and Microsoft. A complete list is located on the eBay links policy page.

When making videos, there should be ample lighting. Shooting video is different than taking pictures because when shooting video a flash isn’t used. Shooting outside will ensure that lighting is not a problem. If that is not possible, then use a room that has plenty of either natural or artifical light. Keep videos under a minute if possible. While a lot of people do have access to high speed Internet, there are still a lot of people who connect using a dial-up connection.

Here is a nice example of an eBay listing using video. The seller does have an advantage as he is a filmmaker. Making videos takes practice but can be worth the effort and time.

Source: Auction Wire

VinStickers.com, the leading Internet automotive inventory management site and AuctionPlus, a certified eBay software developer, today announced a new online feature that will allow automotive dealerships a way to seamlessly move vehicles from their VinStickers inventory and list these vehicles for sale on eBay Motors reaching the national market. This new uploading tool allows the dealership to leverage their existing inventory management database, and a way to automate the listing process on eBay Motors. This new process expands the VinStickers exporting capabilities to include every major web mall and auction venue on the web.

Dealers can now efficiently and conveniently create eBay Motors listings based on their online inventory listings already listed by VinStickers.com. The tool enables dealers to list their vehicles in the eBay marketplace in less than 5 minutes per car, a significant improvement over any existing software. Vehicle management is simple to organize, easy to manage and more profitable for dealers. The manual part of the process has been streamlined so dealers only need to enter vehicle pricing information. VinStickers.com allows the maximum photos per vehicle to be stored and uploaded to eBay, therefore making uploads to eBay, and all other web partners, seamless. The cost of selling a car remains the same for eBay users.

“Dealers now have a one stop remarketing solution for their pre-owned inventory. Not only does VinStickers.com produce the FTC mandated buyers guides, vehicle VinStickers, VinBrochures and new car addendums, we now can export a dealers online inventory to all online auto malls, including eBay Motors – all in one easy step,” said Eric Hinkle, COO, VinStickers.com. “We have the capability of pre-populating nearly the entire listing which streamlines the process and more importantly, increase dealers’ productivity and sales. Professional graphics, multiple photos and important factory data compliment every listing – and that’s what impresses customers when viewing online ads.”

The complete VinStickers program is available to all dealerships, and for more information, you can contact the company at www.vinstickers.com.

eBay will make some changes to the Second Chance Offer feature in several Business & Industrial categories for capital equipment. When an item in one of these categories ends without the Reserve price being met, sellers will be able to send a Second Chance Offer with the price set at any amount below the Reserve Price, even if it’s higher than the non-winning bidder’s final bid amount.

For example, if the highest bid is $4,000, but the Reserve of $5,000 is not met, the Seller could make a Second Chance Offer to the high bidder at a price of $4,500 instead of going all the way down to $4,000.

This feature will be available in the following categories, as well as their subcategories:

Agriculture & Forestry > Tractors & Farm Machinery

Construction > Heavy Equipment, Trailers

Food Service & Retail > Concession Trailers & Carts

Healthcare, Lab & Life Science > Imaging & Aesthetics Equipment
